Community & volunteer involvement

Rosemellin was created on 4 October 2006.

As part of the development of the project, the local and wider community will be invited to consultation events so that we ensure all interested individuals are engaged with the plans. This will also ensure that the final delivery service meets the evolving requirements of the community.

Those members of the community who wish to go a step further will be invited to join the volunteer group, thus allowing them an opportunity to take even greater ownership of the project through managing community fundraising events and dissemination of information through newsletters and maintenance of 'their' area on the Rosemellin website.

It is envisaged that once the project is up and running, a community management board will be created and foundation members will be drawn from the volunteer group.
