Objectives and activities

To provide integrated services for the community for all age ranges by the provision of a multi-agency 'one-stop' shop for all services including health and social care. There will be training opportunities to aid return to work. The building will be available for hire to all community providers.

To provide a community library with multi-media facilities by linking with the county library service and providing training facilities as well as giving access to the wider world.

Sporting facilities to encompass academy status for football and rugby. The sports hall will provide 5-a-side football or four badminton courts and a climbing wall. Our rugby partners will train colts upwards and we are working to involve a premiership football club in a Centre of Excellence for your people.

To provide a theatre with music and dance studio. This will double with the sports hall and be available to community groups as well as amateur dramatics. The music studio will offer a practice facility for the town band and other organizations. To provide a flexible multi-purpose facility at all times of the day. The community will be able to gain access to the facility from 8am until 10:30pm seven days per week, with cash catering throughout those hours. This will help provide a meeting place and social venue for a very wide range of community interest groups and private individuals.
